Cautions for Use
1. Warning
- 1)
Ampoule injection may cause side effect due to mixture with glass fragments when the ampoule is cut and therefore you need to carefully cut the ampoule to minimize the mixture with glass pieces. You should exercise extra care for children and senior citizens.
- 2)
This medicine contains ingredients from human placenta as active ones and those who have agreed to offer their human placenta were examined to confirm that they do not suffer from any kind of infectious diseases while much care including inactivation of viruses during the production process has been exercised to prevent the spread of any infectious diseases. However, as it is made of human placenta, it means that the risk of infectious diseases cannot be completely controlled. Thus, you should limit the use of this medicine to minimum cases taking into account the treatment needs.
2. Do not inject this medicine for the following cases
- 1)
Patients with allergic reaction to this medicine or other ones
- 2)
Patients suspected for organic diseases
- 3)
Patients with moderate complications in heart, liver, kidney or other organs
- 4)
Patients with psychogenic diseases
- 5)
Newborn or premature babies (this medicine contains benzyl alcohol)
3. Be careful to inject this medicine to the following patients
- Patients with allergic constitution
4. Allergies
- 1)
Shock: This medicine may cause shock and therefore stop injection and take proper measures when patients suffer from such symptoms.
- 2)
Allergic Reaction: This medicine may cause chill, nausea, fever, flare or rash and therefore stop injection when patients suffer from such symptoms.
- 3)
Injection Area: The medicine may cause backache or flare.
- 4)
Others: Breast pain, this medicine sometimes causes gynecomastia and therefore stop injection when patients suffer from such symptoms.
5. General Cautions
- When you use this medicine, you should explain patients about the needs to use it and that infectious diseases cannot be completely prevented despite of safety measures to prevent such diseases as it is made of human placenta and exercise effort to obtain their understanding.
6. Cautions for Application
Be careful for the following to prevent the effect of the hypodermic injection on tissues and nerves:
- 1)
Injection should be carefully done by avoiding areas where nerves can be affected.
- 2)
Repeated injections should not be done on a single area, for example, by switching left to right.
- 3)
When patients feel great pain or you see backflow of blood by the injection needle, you should pull the needle out immediately and change the area for injection.
- 4)
You should use this medicine for hypothermic injection only.
